Who is Lily Aldridge?

Lily was born in Santa Monica, in California, and has modelling in her genes.

Her mother was a famous Playboy Playmate, Laura Lyons.

Thanks to her modelling pedigree Lily began her career in the industry working for Abercrombie & Fitch.

Since then she has worked with brands such as Bobbi Brown, Smashbox Cosmetics, GAP and Levi’s.

Lily has graced many magazine covers, including Tatler, French Glamour, Vogue Mexico and Elle Korea, among others.

Victoria’s Secret first hired the model in 2009, when she first walked in the show. The next year she was made an angel.

In 2015 she had the honour of wearing the Fireworks Fantasy Bra, made by Mouawad and worth £1.5m.

Lily is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, 36, trying the knot on May 12, 2011.

They had a daughter, named Dixie Pearl, in June 2012.

Will she be in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?

Lily announced she is expecting her second child in August 2018, so it seems unlikely the model would appear in the show.

If she did it would be the first time a pregnant woman took part in the lingerie catwalk show, a groundbreaking moment for the underwear brand.

Victoria’s Secret model Taylor Hill is the youngest ever Angel who has walked for the brand.

Gorgeous Taylor Hill is a mere 22-years-old, celebrating her birthday in March.

Originally from Palatine, Illinois, the model was born in 1996.
