Who is on Question Time tonight? Gina Miller REVEALED as panellist
Who is on Question Time tonight?
Gina Miller is the businesswoman behind the Supreme Court battle that forced Theresa May to get parliamentary approval for triggering Article 50.
The pro-EU campaigner has received death threats since the EU referendum but said her activism is “absolutely worth it”.
She said: “At the end of the day, you attack the person, not the policies or the arguments when you have nowhere else to go and frankly, they’re just cowards.”
Mrs Miller will be joined on the Question Time panel by the new Conservative Justice Secretary David Lidington.
Also on the panel will be Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth. Alongside him will be the new SNP Westminster Leader Ian Blackford.
Mr Blackford, who today called for compromise on Brexit, became SNP Westminster Leader after Angus Robertson lost his seat in the general election.
Speaking to Radio 4, he said: “There needs to be a meeting of the joint ministerial committee – the parliament in London, meeting together with the governments in Edinburgh, of Belfast and of Cardiff.”
Daily Mail columnist Peter Oborne will also feature on Question Time. The journalist and broadcaster praised Donald Trump in the US election campaign and accused Hillary Clinton of being a warmonger.
What time is Question Time tonight?
Question Time airs at 10.45pm on BBC One tonight. Viewers will be able to stream the programme live via the BBC iPlayer app and website.
You can get involved in the debate on Twitter using the hashtag #BBCQT. As always, Question Time will be hosted by veteran presenter David Dimbleby.
