X-Men Dark Phoenix trailer LEAK: What does the Marvel teaser footage reveal?
WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD
Last weekend the first trailer for Marvel‘s X-Men Dark Phoenix debuted at KinExpo in St Petersburg, Russia for industry insiders.
And one sneaky audience member managed to film the whole thing (without sound) from a partially restricted view.
While not much was given away the usual characters were all back including Jean Grey, Mystique, Charles Xavier, Quicksilver, Beast, Cyclops, Storm and Magneto.
Nevertheless there are a few glimpses of Jean as a little girl during a car accident.
Is it possible that her parents were killed?
After all there is a funeral scene with the X-Men shown among the footage.
Those attending were also lucky enough to view Jean’s transformation into Dark Phoenix.
The Flick attended the viewing and posted on Twitter: “An epic and mysterious Dark Phoenix trailer has been shown at 20th Century Fox product presentation in Saint Petersburg, Russia.”
When asked by fans what rating he would give the teaser, they added: “I’m not even allowed to give a grade to this trailer.”
The leaked trailer can be viewed here.
Well Tom Hardy’s Venom is released on Wednesday October 3, so having a superhero trailer to coincide would make a lot of sense.
Whatever happens the X-Men Dark Phoenix trailer is coming very soon.
In fact, following the leak, perhaps it will even launch in the next few days.
X-Men Dark Phoenix is released in UK cinemas on February 5, 2019.
