Queen Letizia of Spain wears £319 jacket to celebrate first woman in the army
Queen Letizia is the Spanish royal famous for her style.
The stunning brunette did not disappoint fashion fans today with her smart look.
Letizia wore a matching skirt and jacket ensemble to the Civil Guard Headquarters.
She was joied by Spanish Home Affairs Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and Spanish Defence Minister, Margarita Robles, on the occasion.

The jacket was red and white and had pockets with thread details.
It featured black leather piping on the cuffs, the shoulders and the front of the piece
Underneath the jacket the mother-of-two wore a black, high neck top.
Her look was minimal with unvarnished nails and small, sparkling earrings.
Her make-up was nude and minimal, with a touch of brown eyeshadow and a little bronzer.
Her lipstick was a flattering nude colour.
The jacket appears to be the Hugo Boss cropped blazer in Italian tweed with studded tape details. This piece costs £319.
Letizia was in Madrid today for the commemorative events held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of women’s admission in the Civil Guard corps.
It was also the 25th anniversary of the first entry of a woman in the Army Military Academy as an officer.
Queen Letizia was once a journalist, before marrying into the Royal Family.
She was a news anchor for CNN+ and Televisión Española.
Letizia is also a mother to Leonor, Princess of Asturias, 12, and Infanta Sofía of Spain, 11.
Most recently Queen Letizia stunned in earrings worth over £13,000.
Letizia wore a pair of earrings which fans on Twitter identified as being Bvlgari, an Italian luxury brand.
Queen Letizia’s new hair cut took the form of a pretty, shorter bob.
Mother-of-two Letizia, who normally wears her hair past her shoulders, debuted the chic new bob earlier this month.

Career
Letizia was already famous in her native Spain thanks to a career as a TV presenter and journalist.
She even won an award for best Spanish journalist under 30 in 2002, just before she met King Felipe.
Wedding
Felipe and Letizia Ortiz, as she was called then, wed in 2004.
She wore a long-sleeved wedding dress with a 15 foot train by Manuel Pertegaz.
As is custom with royal weddings, Letizia wore a tiara. Her diamond and platinum Prussian tiara is a German imperial heirloom created in 1913 by Koch for Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia’s wedding to Prince Ernst August.
Family
Letizia is the eldest of three daughters, with her middle sister tragically taking her own life in 2007.
Now, Letizia has two daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia of Spain. She is a hands on mum, taking the children to school and enjoying countless family holidays with them.
Divorce
Letizia has been married before, wedding Alfonso Guerrero, a teacher, in 1998.
However she did not require an annulment before her roman-catholic marriage to then Prince Felipe in 2004 as her marriage to Guerrero was a civil ceremony.
Plastic surgery
In 2008, Letizia underwent surgery on her nose to correct a respiratory problem, the Spanish palace confirmed at the time.
