X-Men Dark Phoenix TRAILER release TONIGHT – Here’s when and where
The fourth film in the Marvel X-Men prequel series has been a long time coming after a series of reshoots and a pushed back release date.
But now finally X-Men Dark Phoenix’s first trailer will be launched this evening.
Sophie Turner, who stars as Jean Grey in the 1990s sci-fi sequel, revealed the news through her Instagram account.
She wrote: “Dark Phoenix. Tonight on @latelateshow with @j_corden@xmenmovies #darkphoenix See you there.”
While not much was given away the usual characters were all back including Jean Grey, Mystique, Charles Xavier, Quicksilver, Beast, Cyclops, Storm and Magneto.
Nevertheless there are a few glimpses of Jean as a little girl during a car accident.
Is it possible that her parents were killed?
After all there is a funeral scene with the X-Men shown among the footage.
Those attending were also lucky enough to view Jean’s transformation into Dark Phoenix.
It’s not entirely clear if the trailer’s release has been pushed forward because of the leak.
Nevertheless Tom Hardy’s Venom is out next week so it’s the perfect trailer to show in cinemas beforehand.
X-Men Dark Phoenix is released in UK cinemas on February 5, 2019.
