Queen Letizia, 46, looked sharp in a white silk long-sleeved top which had a rushed round-neck collar.

The mum-of-two wore a simple white vest underneath to prevent her underwear from showing.

She paired this with a pair of black and white stripe skinny fit trousers which were cropped at the ankle.

Adding a touch of colour to her attire, Letizia chose a pair of very sexy deep red stilettos.

Her hair was worn in a side parting and hung loosely down her back, while she kept her makeup very simple.

A pair of gold earrings could be seen glittering in her ears.

As with other royal females around the world, Letizia kept her nails bare – it is rare to see a female member of any European royal family with brightly coloured nail polish.

The royal has been busy this week, and attended an event celebrating women in the army yesterday.

She wore a matching skirt and jacket, £319, ensemble to the Civil Guard Headquarters.

Underneath the jacket the mother-of-two wore a black, high neck top.

Her look was minimal with unvarnished nails and small, sparkling earrings.

Last week, the royal dazzled in a pair of £13,000 earrings at the Teatro Real with her husband Kind Felipe, 50.

The brunette wore a navy asymmetric jumpsuit, which many mistook for a gown at first glance.

Letizia wore navy blue suede shoes and carried a blue clutch to match.
