Venom end credits scenes: ‘LEAKED’ spoilers for Tom Hardy’s Spider-Man spin-off?

Sony’s non-Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man spin-off is released next week, giving the villain his very own solo outing.

Hardy stars as Eddie Brook a journalist who sees an alien symbiote bond with him, giving the character superpowers.

Venom isn’t released until Wednesday in the UK, but it looks like the two end credits scenes have allegedly already leaked.

In a new video MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad, who claims he has sources who have already seen the film, says: “The mid-credits [has] Woody Harrelson as, well not as Carnage but as, Kasady.

“Eddie Brock goes to prison to interview him and Woody’s there and he has a really dumb-looking wig on.

“He kinda looks like Pennywise without the clown makeup.

“So Brock goes in to interview Cletus, and he says ‘Do you want to know what…me being a serial killer is like? Do you want to know…the Carnage?’ That’s the [mid]-credits scene.

Marvel fans will know Cletus Kasady from the comics as a serial killer who becomes Carnage when combined with another alien symbiote.

He is the arch-enemy of Venom, as well as another Spider-Man villain.

As for the post-credits scene, Conrad added: “Then the post-credits [scene] says, ‘Meanwhile in another Spider-verse’.

“They show you a little clip from the animated Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse.”

Meanwhile it sounds like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will not cameo at all.

Speaking with Screen Rant, director Ruben Fleischer said: “It was definitely challenging figuring out how to make a movie with a character that’s defined by Spider-Man without Spider-Man.

“It’s those creative challenges that allow you to really come up with something original and different.

“The thing that I’m most proud of about this movie is I think it feels different than other superhero movies.”

Venom will be released in UK cinemas on October 3, 2018.
