Melania Trump shares intimate moment with Donald Trump wearing slinky blue dress

Melania Trump, 48, looked stunning at the White House this afternoon as she attended an event with Donald Trump.

The First Lady accompanied her husband to an event on administration efforts to “combat the opioid crisis”.

During the event, the couple shared an intimate moment as Melania introduced her husband to speak.

Looking modelesque, the 48-year-old wore a skin-tight navy blue dress.

The dress featured an elegant high neck, long sleeves and came to just below Melania’s knees.

Perfect for the chilly Washington DC weather, the dress appeared to be made of a jersey or knit material.

Navy blue in colour, the dress clung to the former model’s enviable figure.

Adding a pop of colour, the 48-year-old’s wore a pair of fuchsia pink, pointed-toe stiletto heels.

She wore her glossy caramel hair in its signature style – blowdried and voluminous with loose curls.

Her makeup was striking yet understated, with brown and nude tones, a subtle smokey eye and giddy pink lips.

Looking serious as she entered the East Room, Melania then softened up as she shared an intimate moment with her husband.

The two warmly embraced as the First Lady introduced Donald to speak at the event which tackled opioid abuse.

The First Lady then spoke about the apparent bombs sent in packages addressed to Democratic political figures in New York, Washington and Florida.

Also at the event was Donald’s eldest daughter and senior adviser to the President, Ivanka Trump.

The Trumps were in attendance to help combat the country’s “opioid crisis” – a class of illegal drugs which includes heroin. 

Yesterday, Melania attended another event at the White House, wearing a very different outfit. 

The mother-of-one was joined by US Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos to welcome thirty local sixth-grade students to the White House as part of her Be Best campaign.

She wore a brown leather and blue suede jacket from Victoria, Victoria Beckham – the British fashion designer’s diffusion line. It is still available to buy, and cost £825.

Melania paired this with some simple blue skinny jeans and a pair of blue suede stiletto heels.

Her hair was worn in loose curls over her shoulders, and she sported a heavy smoky eye to complement the colours of the jacket.

Languages

Mum-of-one Melania can speak more languages than any other First Lady before her: English, French, German, Italian, Serbian and of course her mother tongue, Slovenian.

This also makes her the only First Lady whose first language is not English.

Religion

After Jacqueline Kennedy, Melania is the second First Lady who is a practising Catholic.

She met Pope Francis as part of a foreign tour with her husband and stepdaughter Ivanka last year.

Career

Melania was a successful model, posing for Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and GQ.

Her skills aren’t confined to print, and she appeared in a commercial for Aflac, an American insurance company, in 2005.

Family

Melania’s parents are Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs, and the couple live together in Washington.

She has one sister, Ines, who is reported to live in New York and work as an artist.

Charity

On May 7 2018, Melania launched her flagship campaign as First Lady, BE BEST, which The White House describes as “an awareness campaign focused entirely around the well-being of children”.

There are three main strands to the initiative: well-being, social media, and opioid abuse.
