London Heathrow flight from Copenhagen declares mid-air emergency: BA flight on alert
The BA815 flight was scheduled to land in London’s Heathrow at 1.36pm, but declared a mid-air emergency. Flight tracker AirLive tweeted: “LIVE @British_Airways #BA815 is declaring an emergency on approach to London Heathrow.” The Airbus A321-231 left Denmark’s capital city at 12.47pm (local time).
A British Airways spokesman said the flight had now landed
He said: “This was a priority landing request purely as a precaution (not an emergency) due to a customer requiring medical assistance, and the aircraft has landed as normal.”
