TRANSFER NEWS LIVE UPDATES: Follow here for the latest news and done deals from the Premier League and across Europe…

Monday July 10

07:37: The Naby Keita to Liverpool trail has gone a little cold in the last few days.

The Sunday Mirror have claimed the 22-year-old has made it clear to his club RB Leipzig that he wants to join Liverpool.

However, Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick, who is a close friend of Jurgen Klopp, is adamant the player won’t be sold.

Keita apparently made his feelings clear in a meeting with Rangnick last week.

But then in an interview with German outlet RBlive, Keita is quoted as saying: “I do not want to change to a big Champions League club.”

We reckon this one might be dead…

05:50: Diego Costa has no plans to return to Chelsea for pre-season.

The Spain international was told via text by Antonio Conte that he is no longer needed at Stamford Bridge.

He wants to secure a return to Atletico Maadrid, but their transfer ban is delaying a move as they cannot register any new players until the New Year.

Bur Spanish newspaper Marca say Costa looks set to be training elsewhere as he has no intention of coming back to Cobham for pre-season.

04:30: Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is determined to sign Real Madrid star Danilo.

The Blues boss apparently lodged a £22million bid for the Brazil international last week, but the La Liga champions rejected their offer.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane apparently wants to keep Danilo.

But Spanish outlet Diario Madridsta say Chelsea are not giving up in their pursuit of right-back.

It is said Conte is ‘obsessed’ with signing him and wants the defender at the club at all costs.

05:30: Liverpool and Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez.

The Colombian failed to get regular game time under Zinedine Zidane last season.

And Rodriguez’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has given both clubs the option of signing his client, Sport claim.

However, the Spanish paper say United and the Reds don’t want to pay the £66million asking price for the 25-year-old.

04:00: Theo Walcott wants to stay at Arsenal and fight for his place.

West Ham are apparently keen on signing the England international for £20million.

And the potential arrival of Monaco star Thomas Lemar has cast doubt over his future at the Emirates.

But The Daily Star claim he is confident in his own ability and has been in a positive mood.

The report adds Walcott was approaching the new season at the club in a upbeat frame of mind.

03:30: Romelu Lukaku has said farewell to Everton as he closes in on his £75million move to Manchester United.

He said on Instagram: “I want to say a big thank you to all the people involved at Everton.

“I want to thank the fans for your support throughout the four years we’ve spent together.

“You guys helped me through all my games and I can proudly say it was an honour to play in front of you.

“To the staff at the the stadium and training ground, thank you for making me feel at home from the first day I walked in.

“To my team-mates it was great to play with you guys. To technical staff thank you for helping me become a better player.

“Working with you guys has been a pleasure and I’ll take your advice throughout the rest of my career. Thank you Everton Football Club.”
