Arsenal have so far managed to retain Sanchez despite Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain’s determination to snap him up.

And the Frenchman, speaking ahead of Sunday’s clash with Liverpool, has confirmed he is aware of bids for his star asset.

“He is very focused. He is happy,” Arsene Wenger said.

“We just want to focus as a team and not look too much at the individual contracts of the team.

“I know every bid we have of course but I think it’s best to focus on the game.”

City boss Pep Guardiola wants a reunion with Sanchez, who he previously managed in La Liga with Barcelona.

PSG, meanwhile, want to make him their second blockbuster signing after the arrival of Neymar.

Wenger also confirmed that he would have a meeting with Ivan Gazidis about Sanchez’s future.

“We have our agenda, which is quite busy but we do not publish them.

“Some people outside the club look better informed than I am.”

Wenger also confirmed he does not expect to sell Inter Milan target Shkodran Mustafi.

“No I don’t expect… It’s difficult for me to talk about any individual cases,” he said.

“It’s always very difficult to predict what will happen and how will you respond to any solicitation.”
