Sam Smith RETURNS with new single ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ – LISTEN HERE
The 25-year-old unveiled ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ overnight and it’s already hurtling towards the top end of the iTunes charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
The song sees Smith back on familiar territory: the earnest heartache-focussed balladry that made his early output so successful.
While it’s unlikely to win him any new fans, he’s certainly got enough existing admirers to make it a huge hit.

Smith posted when the song came out in the early hours of this morning: “LIFT OFF… LOVE YOU ALL. It’s yours now xx hope you like it xx.”
Expectations will be high for his second album: debut In The Lonely Hour went seven-times platinum in the UK and double-platinum in the US.
It also spawned a string of hits including the number ones Money On My Mind, Stay With Me and Lay Me Down; with I’m Not The Only One and Like I Can also hitting the Top 10.
He was last in the charts two years ago when the Bond theme Writing’s On The Wall hit the summit. It went on to bag an Academy Award.
Timbaland, Clean Bandit, Frances and Naughty Boy have been rumoured to be working with him on new music.
Adam Lambert is also thought to have a song in the pipeline with the home-grown star.
Too Good At Goodbyes by Sam Smith is out now.
