Avengers Infinity War film: 22 NEW character posters – Guess the only THREE missing?

There are theories and there are rumours. And then there are so many signs and repeated hints that even Star-Lord could figure it out.

Marvel has just released a full range of character hero posters for the upcoming Infinity War and it has glaringly left out three major MCU heroes.

Fans have already started petitions and created fake posters for one of them, another seems almost certain to die in the opening scenes of Avengers 3, while it is looking increasingly likely that the third will hold the key to what happens in Avengers 4.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS

The posters seem to indicate all the characters that will play a prominent role in Avengers 3.

As well as established heavy hitters like Captain America/Nomad, Iron Man, Hulk and Spider-Man, there are also new additions like Black Panther, Doctor Strange and his sidekick Wong.

Yet again, there is no sign of Hawkeye. Also missing are Ant-Man and Loki. The former will definitely be alive somewhere because his own second movie will follow this July.

As for Loki…

Loki is the character most likely to die early on in the movie.

He has only ever been shown in promotional clips offering up the Tesseract to Thanos. Fans suspect he dies in the ensuing slaughter of all the Asgardians and the explosion that hurls Thor into the path of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

If not, it is possible that Thanos offers to save his life if he keep far out of the way.

Expect to see little of Loki after the devastating opening scenes.

Hawkeye has always been a contentious character. Disregarded by many fans, he nevertheless has a hardcore fans base who have been fighting back with fake character posters.

The Russo brothers have already explained that some characters will barely feature in Avengers 3 but will have their turn in the sequel.

Recent images of Hawkeye on the set for Avengers 4 have also indicated the character’s transition to the darker and more rebellious Ronin.

Jeremy Renner himself has assured fans that there will plenty to look foward to, further down the line.

Ant-Man And The Wasp will hit cinemas in July, which explains his absence from Avengers 3 promo materials.

The movie will also introduce Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, who was lost in the Quantum Realm.

The expected exploration of that mind-bending realm and its fluid relationship with time is now heavily rumoured to tie into Avengers 4. Many set images from that movie have shown the major heroes looking younger or wearing earlier incarnations of their costumes, as well as Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man looking the same as usual.

Avengers 4 is expected to feature some kind of time or reality bending storyline and this would be the perfect place for Ant-Man to feature.
