James Bond 25 theme tune: THIS Brit beauty favourite to beat Beyonce AND be a Bond Girl

The future of OO7 is still up in the air. New negotiations between parent company MGM and potential buyers could be stalling the progress on the 25th movie in the franchise but there are still plans to be made.

Despite a huge recent April Fool hoax reporting that Daniel Craig had quit, the star is still in place for his final outing. But who will be serenading his swan song?

Are they really lining up the hottest young female pop star on the planet right now?

This British superstar is now the hot favourite, with betting odds on her a seemingly unbeatable 4-5 to steal the crown from Beyonce.

The last two theme songs have been sung by major young stars but followed the traditional Bond torch song format.

Adele’s Skyfall and Sam Smith’s Writing’s On The Wall were huge hits but followed the epic, soaring formla that stretches all the way back to Shirley Bassey.

This time around, the filmmakers could be shaking things up with a bold new choice. She had a huge hit with New Rules and now Dua Lipa could be shaking things up and breaking all the rules for Bond 25.

Former model Dua Lipa is also a hot favourite to be Bond Girl, which would be a franchise first.

Fresh from her BRITs triuph and multiple hits on both sides of teh Atlantic, Coral has announced Dua Lipa is their favourite to sing the Bond 25 theme tune: “Dua Lipa is one of the hottest stars at the moment and we think she would be nigh on perfect for the role of performing the theme for Bond 25.”

Fellow Brits George Ezra and Callum Scott are still close behind on 2/1 and 3/1.

Beyonce has slipped back to 6/1, followed by Rag’N’Bone Man on 10/1 and Ed Sheeran on 12/1.

Late last year Beyonce was the overwhelming favourite. Her ability to be at the cutting edge of modern music but also sing epic ballads and cover iconic artists like Etta James seemed the perfect fit for the Bond franchise.

Talks were reporetd between the singer and the sudio and a senior executive for MGM added: “To tie-up a deal with Beyoncé for a theme song for Daniel’s fifth appearance as 007 would really be the icing on the cake.”
