Avengers Infinity War DEATHS: Why [SPOILER] will make SHOCK return in Avengers 4

WARNING AVENGERS INFINITY WAR SPOILERS AHEAD

The Marvel epic hit audiences hard with a ton of major superhero deaths this week.

But before Thanos’ genocide at Avengers Infinity War’s conclusion, the mad Titan killed off a few other characters.

Apart from Heimdall, Loki and Vision, the big purple baddie had to sacrifice his adopted daughter Gamora to obtain the Soul Stone.

While it goes without saying the surviving Avengers like Iron Man and Captain America will work out a way to bring back those who turned to ash in Infinity War – there are sequels for Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Black Panther in the works after all – it’s not so certain for those who preceeded this.

However we have a hunch Zoe Saldana’s Guardian will return in Avengers 4 and here’s how.

With Thanos having won, the only way for the Avengers to win is to rewrite history by travelling back in time – as heavily hinted by Avengers 4 set photos.

Luckily there’s the Time Stone for that, if they can somehow get it from Thanos.

The most obvious way of stopping the Mad Titan is to destroy each of Infinity Stones in the past, before he can use them in the future – before crucially destroying the Time Stone.

Otherwise Thanos could just undo the…undoing.

This means Gamora wouldn’t be sacrificed.

Meanwhile the other reason it makes more sense for her to survive is the fact that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is set for release in 2020.

And as it stands all of the ragtag team of misfits are dead except for Rocket.

Then there’s the brutal reality of Star-Lord’s romance with Gamora, which only really blossomed with a kiss in Avengers Infinity War.

It would be way too brutal of Disney to draw their love out like that and not have her return.

Lastly, her younger self was in a scene with Thanos after he clicked his fingers. At the very least her soul could return in some form?
