Avengers Infinity War: THIS death reveals SPOILER is much more powerful than we thought

There are two different types of death in Avengers 3. Or so we thought until now.

A new interview with one of the film makers draws attention to one of the most heartbreaking death scenes in the entire movie.

The length of time it takes and the way in which this beloved superhero goes is actually a massive clue to just how powerful he or she really is.

Obviously, do not read beyond this point if you have not seen the movie yet.

The following article is packed with major spoilers.

Four major characters are killed by Thanos and his Black Guard throughout the movie: Vision, Loki, Heimdall and Gamora.

Many more are killed in the Snap, when the Mad Titan finally uses the Infinity Gauntlet to erase half of all life across the universe.

During the horrifying last scenes of the film, numerous powerful and popular characters crumble to dust in exactly the same way – except one.

It seems Spider-Man is way more powerful than anyone realised.

His death scene, cradled in the arms of Tony Stark, is almost unbearable to watch.

It also lasts a lot longer than all the other. Every other character barely gets a single word out before they fade away.

Peter Parker has time to break the hearts of Tony and every single audience member as he gasps out his last lines, afraid to die but also still worried that he is letting his mentor and idol down.   

He has time to realise what is happening and, it has just been revealed, to fight it.

WETA digital SFX boss Matt Aiken was responsible for all those Snap death scenes.

He exclusively told Screen Rant: “Spidey’s really fighting it. He definitely doesn’t want to go and he’s fighting… he’s incredibly powerful, so he’s able to withhold it for a lot longer than some of the others, but in the end he can’t withstand it.”

Fans will remember that even those as powerful as Scarlet Witch and Black Panther quickly crumbled to dust.
