Avengers Infinity War: Sebastian Stan stuns with Bucky Barnes 'death' revelation (WATCH)

WARNING: Major spoilers ahead for Avengers: Infinity War.

Bucky Barnes – aka White Wolf, formerly the Winter Soldier – was one of many victims of the Snap at the end of the movie; dissolving into nothing and effectively being killed off.

Barnes’ last moment saw him running towards Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, clearly aware that something was very wrong – saying: “Steve…”

Asked over the weekend, Stan revealed what the end of the sentence would have been, if Barnes had more time.

Speaking at Wizard World Philly over the weekend, the actor joked that it would have echoed Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) own final moments.

“What would he say?” he said.

“Steve… I don’t… I don’t feel so good…”

As the audience erupted into shocked laughter and applause, Stan looked mightily pleased with himself for the punchline.

Holland’s final words in the movie have generated a lot of attention amongst Marvel fans, as his exit was a particularly heartbreaking one.

But the vast majority of MCU fans expect at least some of the deaths to be reversed in sequel Avengers 4, due out next year.

That’s not only because of the sheer volume of favourites who were killed off, but because some of them – Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy, for example – have more movies in the pipeline; movies that are confirmed to take place after the events of Avengers 4.

Infinity War is still big at the box office worldwide, although it was finally overtaken over the weekend by Deadpool 2.

The Ryan Reynolds-fronted sequel launched to the tune of around $300 million in the US, the second-highest opening for an R-rated movie ever.
