With alternative and startingly clear new stereo mixes, plus several previously unreleased contemporaneous BBC sessions, it will satisfy the taste buds of any ultimate Cream fan.

Originally released in 1966, Clapton, Baker and Bruce brewed up a hailstorm of blues on the well chosen standards and self penned songs contained here.

Listening to the wild wailing vocals and rangy bass playing of Jack Bruce particularly on I’m So Glad, the heavy dose of fluent blues guitar by Eric Clapton on N.S.U., Spoonful and Rollin’ and Tumblin’ and Ginger Baker playing the drums like a man with ten blurry hands across the whole shebang, most notably on Toad, these three uber blues men complemented each other so perfectly on these recordings.

For the Cream completist, there is a 64 page hardback book and a feast of early recordings, outtakes and alternative mixes served up including seven versions of the jazzy hit single I Feel Free to satisfy the appetite of the most ravenous of fans of the band spread across the 3 cd’s of this creme de la creme deluxe release.
