Viral GHOST story Dear David becoming horror movie: WATCH the creepy REAL-LIFE footage
Cartoonist and former BuzzFeed writer Adam Ellis claims he’s been haunted by the ghost of a small boy called David.
Since last summer he’s been posting descriptions of his experiences on Twitter, alongside photographs and videos as evidence.
It all started when the New Yorker had a dream of a boy with a dented head sitting in the rocking chair at the foot of his bed, before lurching towards him.
This weird dream was followed by another where a girl in a library asked him: “You’ve seen Dear David haven’t you?”
She told Adam: “He’s dead. He only appears at midnight, and you can ask him two questions if you said ‘Dear David’ first.
“But never try to ask him a third question, or he’ll kill you.”
David came back in another dream a few nights later and Adam asked him how he died.
David replied: “An accident in a store.”
In a second question asking what happened the boy groaned and replied: “A shelf was pushed on my head.”
Adam dared to asked a third question, enquiring who pushed the shelf, but without saying “Dear David” first. The boy didn’t answer and Adam awoke terrified.
Since this incident in August 2017, the cartoonist has been posting weird experiences in his apartment.
At midnight every night his cats hover at the front door and “just stare at it, almost like something is on the other side.”
But of all the experiences, perhaps one of the most unsettlingly is the footage of his green rocking chair caught on a camera used to keen an eye on his cats when he was away. After a few moments the chair rocks all by itself.
