Avengers 4: Ant-Man and the Wasp's Evangeline Lilly compares Infinity War sequel to LOST
It was her big break over a decade ago and filled with all kinds of twists and turns.
Now Lilly is comparing Marvel‘s mysterious Avengers 4 to her hit TV show LOST and specially the game-changing season 4.
The Wasp star told NDTV (H/T): “When I heard about Infinity War [and Avengers 4] and the direction that they’re heading, I did have this moment of realising, oh, wow, there’s a bit of a déjà vu for me with the Lost franchise.
“We are hitting that [Lost] season 4 space.”
Lilly added: “Where everything’s about to shift, and you’re about to lose the solid ground underneath you.
“And [Ant-Man and the Wasp], of course, will play a part in that.”
Without spoiling the TV show, LOST fans will remember season 4 was a time in the series when everything went proper topsy-turvy in terms of the twisty plot.
Time travel and multi-verse travelling has already been teased for Avengers 4 following leaked set photos, so whatever happens in the Avengers Infinity War sequel is going to be a very different kind of Marvel movie.
She added: “And I’m proud to be in there. And I’m stoked to be in there.”
But first the actress is returning for Ant-Man and the Wasp this August, a film set before the events of Avengers Infinity War.
Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
