Abvengers Infnity War is still in cinemas but all eyes are on what happens next.

Marvel will not take its usual centerpiece stage at the San Diego ComicCon this year but has just presented major new material at an event in Barcelona.

Kevin Feifege took the stage at the latest 2018 CineEurope Expo with news and footage from Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers 4.

A leak reported that a scene was shown to the industry figures in the hall with Tony Stark and Scott Lang starting the fightback against Thanos.

According to the report, the two superheroes were planning to use the Quantum Realm to collect the Infinity Stones before Thanos could get them.

This ties in closely with many prevailing rumours and theories that the surviving Avengers will somehow go back in time to rewrite what happened and prevent the Snap.

MCUCosmic editor Jeremy Conrad has just confirmed exactly what was and was not shown at CineEurope.

Conrad wrote: “As for Avengers 4, there was no title revealed at the conference. All they referred to it as was Avengers Untitled. Anyone trying to pass off a blurry title picture to you and claiming it was announced there is just lying to you.

“Likewise, the footage “reports” being spread around by websites about Scott Lang talking to Tony Stark about different realities and Infinity Stones are 100% bogus. That scene was not shown at all.

“What was in the Avengers 4 footage?”

“Well, nothing really. It was basically Kevin Feige sitting in a chair talking about the movie while some behind-the-scenes clips played and apologizing to the exhibitors there for there being so many fewer heroes to sell to their customers.”

This is disappointing but not unexpected.

Feige and teh Russo brothers have also repeatedly stated that no theories or rumours have yet come close to what will actually happen in Avengers 4.

AVENGERS 4 IS OUT ON APRIL 27, 2019
