The New Polar Expedition Ship Set for 2020

This new ship will also have two helidecks and 20 zodiacs, giving passengers the ability to explore remote lands and new places many people only dream of seeing.

Whether you want to go flightseeing or heli-skiing in the polar regions, Quark Expeditions can make it happen. They created Quark Academy to properly train their expedition staff so that travelers get the best experience possible.

This new ship will also incorporate several groundbreaking safety systems, using cutting-edge features designed to help the ship go further in a safe manner. Because of this, the new ship will have a 40-day operational capability.

Combine that with the two helicopters and you get an extended range on the ship that will allow guests safe access to destinations like the Ross Sea and the remote western Antarctic “Phantom Coast.”
