Royal Ascot takes place every year and the races are kicking off at 2:30 pm today.

The worst dressed racegoers descended on the racecourse today.

Glamour model Kelly Brook was among the first revellers there.

She was also among the very worst dressed.

The 38-year-old from Rochester wore a red dress, one of England’s national colours.

This decision made sense when taking into account her bizarre hat.

The buxom model wore a large red circular fascinator.

It has pretty white flowers but was marred by a strange addition.

Kelly obviously aimed to make the papers as she had a doll dressed up as an England football player on it, holding a trophy.

Another racegoer wore an enormous floral hat.

Will Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle attend Royal Ascot?

Royal Ascot is perhaps the most prestigious racing event in the country, attended by the Queen herself.

Kate Middleton made her royal debut at the five-day-long horse racing event in 2016, five years after marrying Prince William and joining the Royal Family.

It was reported that the Queen invited Kate, along with Prince William, to the prestigious horse racing event every year since their wedding, with Kate only finally accepting the offer in 2016. She then attended again in 2017.

Unlike Kate, new Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is expected to attend this year’s event with Prince Harry.
