Ant-Man and the Wasp: Michael Douglas reveals why Hank Pym is ‘P***** OFF’ with Scott Lang
Three years ago Douglas’ Pym recruited Lang to don the shrinking suit in the first Ant-Man movie.
The two characters haven’t always seen eye to eye, but now the 73-year-old actor has revealed why his is not happy with Rudd’s Lang.
Speaking with Collider, he said it was because Ant-Man ran off to join Steve Rogers’ side in Marvel‘s Captain America: Civil War.
But not so much for teaming up with Cap over Iron Man, but because Pym Tech is now no longer a secret.
Speaking with EMPIRE, she said: “They always do that.”
“Then what happens is people just pirate the movie and they see it in the worst way possible, like some sh***y version online, instead of going to a theatre.
“They go in the end, but I don’t like that staggering.
“I’m really going to get to the bottom of this for you. I’m as pissed off about it as you are.”
Ant-Man star Rudd joked: “I don’t understand. Let me see if we can maybe get the World Cup moved.”
Ant-Man and the Wasp’s official synopsis reads: “Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. “Approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym, Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp.
“The urgent mission soon leads to secret revelations from the past as the dynamic duo finds itself in an epic battle against a powerful new enemy.”
Ant-Man and the Wasp is released in UK cinemas on August 3 and US theatres on July 6.
