Ladies sporting some of the most inventive hats possible descended on the race course today.

One woman wore a hat that shape of a large five point star with a rose in the middle.

Another wore a hat in the shape of the spitfire, a famous plane used in battle.

A towering hat of flowers and fake butterflies sat on one woman’s head.

Best dressed at Ladies Day yesterday stunned with beautiful fashion. 

They included television presenters and everyday racegoers, with everyone dressed to the nines.

Ladies Day is known for its fashion highs and lows, with many women using the day as a chance to experiment with style and wear daring outfits they couldn’t wear anywhere else.
