Sarah Ferguson, 58, stepped out at Royal Ascot today with her daughter Princess Beatrice, 29, and her ex-husband Prince Andrew, 58.

Day four of Royal Ascot is well underway, with the Royal Family making an appearance each day of the prestigious horse racing meet so far.

Today was the turn of flame-haired Fergie, who turned heads when she appeared with her daughter and ex-husband, who she reportedly still has a close relationship with.

Fergie looked chic in a navy blue ensemble, adhering to the strict Royal Ascot dress code with matching hat and accessories.

The dress was more autumnal than befitting to the scorching sunshine, coming to just above the knee with long, fitted sleeves.

Flaring out from below the hips adding a whimsical element, the dress also had a high neckline and navy blue tassels decorating the edges of the sleeves.

With hats a must at Royal Ascot, the 58-year-old wore a saucer-style hat, also in navy blue, set at a jaunty angle.

Adding some embellishment to the otherwise simple, almost business-like outfit, the hat had quirky ribbons fashioned in twirly patterns underneath the left side of the hat – contrasting against Fergie’s red hair.

The hat was similar in shape to that worn by Meghan Markle at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party in May.

She also proudly wore her name badge, something other royals haven’t been doing this year.

To walk comfortably on the Royal Ascot lawns, Sarah wore a pair of low-heeled navy blue shoes with a slight pointed toe.

Matching her famous red hair, her dainty clutch bag featured a burnt orange and navy blue design, with edgy snakeskin print on the front.

She kept things simple in the makeup department with a slight smokey eye and barely-there foundation and lipstick, accessorising the look with some drop-down pearl earrings, a favourite of the royals.

After arriving, Sarah was spotted curtseying to Her Majesty the Queen with Beatrice and Andrew, holding onto her daughter’s hand, possibly for support.

Getting rid of the formalities, Fergie was later spotted laughing and chatting with the Queen away from prying eyes in a Royal Box.

This has been the first time Sarah has been spotted near the Queen since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding.

Wearing a similar navy blue outfit at the wedding, Sarah didn’t arrive with her daughters or sit near them during the ceremony, instead arriving alone.

She was also reportedly stunned by Prince Charles’ from the intimate wedding reception party at Frogmore House.

However, for her youngest daughter Princess Eugene’s wedding in October this year, Sarah is expected to sit with Beatrice and her ex-husband Andrew.

Sarah is said to be very busy helping Eugenie plan her big day.
