After 14 years of waiting Incredibles 2 finally arrived in cinemas, so it’s clear fans are used to waiting for the Parr family to take to the screen.

But even by modern movie standards, Incredibles 2 is pretty long.

How long is Incredibles 2?

Incredibles 2 has a relatively long runtime, coming in at two hours and five minutes.

The Incredibles sequel barely has a calm moment, though, and the two hours go by at a pretty good pace.

The moments of humour, which are fast and frequent, keep the time moving and there are rarely lags.

Despite the speed, a bit more than two hours is still a long time for kids to keep still.

The first Incredibles movie was almost as long with a runtime of one hour and 56 minutes.

Incredibles 2 doesn’t have a post credit scene, so there isn’t anything worth sticking around for after the credits.

INCREDIBLES 2 AFTER CREDIT: DOES INCREDIBLES 2 HAVE AN END CREDIT SCENE?

Incredibles 2 picks up at the exact moment Incredibles 1 ended and even with the 14-year gap, it feels as if no time has passed.

The Parr family are back at the superhero game, despite superheroes being made illegal.

Plenty of the original Incredibles cast reprised their roles for the movie, including Holly Hunter (Helen Parr/Elalstigirl), Samuel L. Jackson (Lucius Best/Frozone), Craig T. Nelson (Bob Parr/Mr Incredible) and Sarah Vowell (Violet Parr).

Incredibles 2 director Brad Bird also reprised his voice-acting role as Edna, and Spencer Fox replaced Huck Milner as Dashiell “Dash” Parr.

Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Sophia Bush and Isabella Rossellini also joined the cast.

Incredibles 2 has already shattered box office records in the USA for its opening weekend.

No confirmation of whether there will be an Incredibles 3 has been given, but it isn’t totally off the table.

Hopefully, there won’t be another 14-year wait.

Incredibles 2 is in cinemas in the UK from July 13.
