Avengers: Infinity War left fans with plenty of questions and theories about the final instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe phase III.

The as yet untitled Avengers movie will close the door on Phase III and set the start for Phase IV of the MCU.

When is Avengers 4 out?

Avengers 4 UK release date is slightly ahead of the release date for America.

The untitled Avengers movie comes out in UK cinemas on Friday, 26 April 2019.

The Avengers 4 synopsis, according to License Global, reads: “An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time.

“The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.”

Avengers 4 filming in Atlanta, Georgia provided plenty of leaked set photos, encouraging more fan theories than ever.

The title for Avengers 4 is also said to be a spoiler of sorts for Infinity War, though quite how that works with the movie being over is yet to be seen.

The gap between the Avengers 4 UK release date and American release date means fans in the States will have to stay off twitter for a few days.

Who is in Avengers 4?

The cast of Avengers: Infinity War had a record-breaking size.

67 superheroes featured in Avengers Infinity War, and Avengers 4 is getting ready to give its predecessor a run for its money.

Avengers 4 will definitely feature the heroes who survived Thanos’ snap at the end of Infinity War.

The surviving Avengers include: Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Karen Gillan (Nebula) Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), and Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).

The unaccounted for Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) and Letitia Wright (Shuri) may also show their faces.

New Avengers being added to the mix include Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, alongside with Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp) and Michelle Pfeiffer (the other Wasp) and fans will therefore probably see Michael Douglas (Hank Pym).

Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, will also appear in Avengers 4 despite being left out of Infinity War.

Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan) has reportedly also filmed scenes for the movie.

Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, is set to appear in Avengers 4 too, though she will make her first appearance ahead of Avengers 4 with her own solo movie.

Fan theories speculate the Avengers wiped out of existence by Thanos are not really dead, just trapped in another dimension.

The Ant-Man and the Wasp movie coming up adds credence to this theory given the prevalence of the quantum realm in its plot.

Of the Avengers cast, Chris Hemsworth also confirmed Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Chris Pratt “and more” will appear in Avengers 4.

He also confirmed the fan theory that Benicio Del Toro will be reprising his Guardians of the Galaxy role as the Collector for Avengers 4.

There are still more details to come out – like the title – but until then fans will have to keep speculating.
