Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece wears sexy sequin mini dress for Studio 54-themed bash
Princess Marie-Chantal, 49, is the Crown Princess of the Greek royal family, married to Crown Prince Pavlos, the son of deposed King Constantine II.
Proving just how well the Greeks can party, the royal family jetted to the French Riviera to throw a birthday bash for London-based Iraqi socialist and party planner, Rena Sindi.
The epitome of sexy 70s and 80s glamour, the party was themed on the legendary Studio 54 Night Club.
The Greek royals were joined by a host of socialites, who all dressed to the nines in the theme of the extravagant New York nightclub.
Stealing the show was Marie-Chantal, along with her sister Alexandra von Fürstenberg and her daughter Princess Olympia.
With the dress code all things sequin and sparkly, the stunning 49-year-old wore a bright mini dress covered in multi-coloured sequins.
She accessorised the look with a waist belt and pink beaded necklace.
Typical of the 70s era, the mother-of-five wore her blonde hair feathered and flicked out, reminiscent of Farrah Fawcett.
She added to the bold look with a heavy purple smokey eye and pink lipstick.
Her daughter, Princess Olympia, 21, also stole the show at the extravagant St Tropez bash.
Wearing a sexy blonde wig, the student, model and socialite donned a rainbow sequin dress with long sleeves and a very short hemline.
The look channelled Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1980s classic, Scarface, starring Al Pacino.
She reportedly wore the wig to breakfast with her parents the morning after the party.
Olympia’s father, Crown Prince Pavlos also embraced the Studio 54 spirit, donning a pair of tinted sunglasses and wearing an unbuttoned shirt, exposing his chest.
Also in attendance at the St Tropez party were designer Diane von Fürstenberg’s granddaughter Princess Talita von Fürstenberg.
Before the partying, Marie-Chantal showed off her more serious side when she spoke to a French magazine on her thoughts on Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry.
Speaking to Paris Match, she gave advice and a warning to the new Duchess of Sussex.
She said she “cannot wait to see how Meghan’s role will evolve.”
“I am sure she will have the support of everyone to succeed,” she added.
However, the royal also stated that certain parts of Meghan’s former life will need to be left in the past.
