Ant-Man and the Wasp: Here’s what Hank Pym and Hope did after Captain America Civil War

The father and daughter pair haven’t been seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2015’s Ant-Man.

However the title star joined Steve Rogers’ side in Captain America: Civil War, something that “p***ed off” Hank and got Scott Lang into a lot of trouble with the law (again).

But with Ant-Man and the Wasp hitting cinemas soon – a film set before Avengers Infinity War – just what have the original Ant-Man and the new Wasp been up to?

Speaking with Comic Book, producer Stephen Broussard said: “Post-Sokovia Accords, someone knocked on [Hank and Hope’s] door and was like, ‘You gotta sign this contract. You gotta be under the Accords because you’re currently in violation of this thing we put in place in Captain America: Civil War.’

He continued: “And Hank, being Hank, he never wanted Stark to have his technology and said, ‘Thanks, but no thanks,’ and sort of had to go underground a little bit.

“He built this kind of mobile operation. You walk in and it’s huge.

“It’s this giant set, but when it’s time to go the whole building can be mobile and move around.

“It’s got a little handle and squeaky wheels and it’s just fun.”

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “I’ll answer that question really honestly.

“Who knows, because I suspect, I don’t know this, but I think any further announcement of the slate – the rest of this year is going to be about the next Avengers movie and the tea-up to that stuff. And then I think we are all hopeful.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released in UK cinemas on August 3, 2018.
