Avengers 4 leak: Is THIS the leaked Avengers 4 title?

Avengers fans are amazing theorists.

Given a tidbit of information, Reddit users can spin plot theories and characters’ futures for their favourite Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But one thing which remains elusive is the title, which plenty of fans continued to speculate over.

Is THIS the leaked Avengers 4 title?

A new leak (to be taken, as per usual, with a grain of salt) sought to prove Avengers: End Game is the title of Avengers 4.

Trent Opaloch, cinematographer on Captain America: Civil War, Winter Soldier and Avengers: Infinity War, Trent Opaloch supposedly let it slip.

Opaloch updated his CV page to include the upcoming Avengers movie, understandably, and titled the movie Avengers: End Game.

Whether this mistake revealed just a working title or the actual title itself, Opaloch must have realised the slip up as the addition has been removed and his CV now reads solely Avengers 4.

Avengers: Infinity War directing duo, the Russos have said all along that the title of Avengers 4 would be a spoiler for Infinity War, and will play on a familiar theme.

Fans have reason to suspect End Game could be the title.

The phrase ‘end game’ has used multiple times already throughout not only Infinity War but other Russo-helmed Marvel movies.

Ironman aka Tony Stark called Thanos the end game during Avengers: Age of Ultron, albeit after having a Scarlett Witch-induced dream.

During Infinity War, Doctor Strange ominously said to Stark “we’re in the end game now” after he gave Thanos the Time Stone during the finale.

For all the fervour, the Russo brothers have denounced the theory absolutely.

When asked by Uproxx whether the title of the fourth Avengers movie was spoken during in Infinity War, the brothers answered “no”

However, they also said: “It’s certainly grounded in the narrative that we have been following throughout the MCU – very well grounded…”

Avengers 4 was originally called Infinity War Part 2, but the Russo brothers began to drop more hints about what the blockbuster would be called.

Other suggested names include Avengers: Secret Invasion, Avengers: Disassembled, Avengers: Assembled and Avengers: Forever.
