Melania Trump gets close to Donald in busty £2,956 outfit at Fourth of July event

Melania Trump was pictured looking close with Donald Trump last night at the Fourth of July event at the White House.

The First Lady celebrated the special American holiday in a gingham Ralph Lauren shirt dress worth $2,790 (£2,106).

She looked glowing as she descended the White House steps with Donald.

She held on tightly to her husband’s hand in a particularly display for the couple.

Later on she is pictured looking up on her husband in admiration on the White House balcony.

The gorgeous former model wore blue, white and red – the colours of the American flag – to show her patriotism. 

Her dress had a wrap style front which showed off her bust and added a feminine touch to the outfit. 

She pulled off the full length dress which looked elegant thanks to her 5 foot 11 inches of height.

It also had a split in the bottom which revealed a hint of tanned, lean calf.

Her waist was cinched in by a red obi style leather belt by McQueen which is worth £405.

The belt was tied tightly in a bow around her middle which highlighted her hourglass figure.

She paired this with a pair of Christian Louboutin red flats worth £445. 

Her chestnut coloured hair had golden highlights and was worn in loose waves around her shoulders. 

Finally, she wore smoky black eyeshadow with a mauve pink lipstick to highlight her features. 

The First Lady’s outfit today was completely occasion appropriate, thanks to the colour scheme.

However, the same could not be said for Melania’s controversial I Don’t Care jacket worn last month.

Melania stepped out in an all white outfit for an official appearance where she visited a detention centre in Texas today for children taken from their parents at the US-Mexico border.

However, she caused controversy in a khaki army style jacket worn over her angelic look.

The jacket costs £29 and had the words “I really don’t care, do you?” written on the back.

The choice proved controversial, with many criticising the choice on Twitter for being insensitive.
