When is Incredibles 2 out in the UK?

Incredibles 2 has a UK release date of Friday, July 13, 2018.

The second Incredibles movie was released in the USA on June 5 so spoilers of both the Incredibles and the Pixar short before it are already flying around.

The sequel will play in both IMAX 3D and UK IMAX cinemas.

Who is in the Incredibles 2 cast?

Brad Bird returns to the Parr family to write and direct the sequel.

Holly Hunter returns to the role of Elastigirl/Helen Parr, along with Craig T Nelson as Mr Incredible/Bob Parr.

Samuel L Jackson also returned to Incredibles 2 as the Parr’s family friend Frozone aka Lucius Best.

The Incredibles director Brad Bird reprised the voice of Edna and Sarah Powell returned as daughter Violet Parr.

With the host of new characters added to the franchise, new cast members have also joined the Incredibles team.

Bob Odenkirk of Better Call Saul fame voices newcomer Winston Deavor, the leader of a telecommunications company who is determined to reinstate the legal status of supers.

His sister, Evelyn Deavor, is voiced by Catherine Keener (Get Out, Being John Malkovich, and more).

Voyd, the young fan of Elastigirl, is voiced by Sophia Bush and Isabella Rossellini joins Incredibles 2 as the Ambassador, an advocate for superheroes legalisation.

Jonathan Banks (also of Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad) features in Incredibles 2 as Rick Dicker the head of the Super Relocation Program who helps keep the Parr family secret identities a secret.

Dash’s original voice actor was replaced by Huck Milner for the sequel.

What is the Incredibles 2 plot?

“Everyone’s favourite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of ‘normal’ life.

The official synopsis adds: “It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers.
