The Queen, 92, received the President Donald Trump, 82, and his wife Melania Trump, 48, at Windsor Castle for afternoon tea today.

Her Majesty stood out in bright blue – but eagle eyed fashion fans may notice she has worn the outfit before.

She wore a blue coat, yellow and blue floral dress and blue hat by Angela Kelly – the same outfit she wore for the State Opening of Parliament.

There was a subtle difference, as the hat’s flowers had been replaced with a large bow.

As usual, the Queen wore a pair of pristine white gloves, and varied a black Launer handbag.

She kept her jewellery understated, opting for a string of pearls and matching pearl earrings.

A large diamond brooch completed her attire.

Keeping to her classic style, the head of the Royal Family wore a pop of pink lipstick and light eyeshadow.

While the Queen looked striking in blue, Melania chose cool white.

Mum-of-one Melania wore a white Dior jacket with an unusual high neck collar which was belted at the waist with a skinny black leather belt.

A matching white pencil skirt, which fell below her knees, completed the look.

As usual, Melania added inches to her frame in a pair of nude Christian Louboutin stilettos.

As her outfit was so striking, Melania kept her jewellery simple, wearing only her engagement ring and a pair of diamond earrings.

Melania wore her long hair in a chignon, which is not a style she often chooses.

Adding a modern edge, she wore tendrils of hair loose, framing her face.

Keeping her makeup classic, Melania stuck to her favourite look of heavy mascara and a light pink lipstick.

One thing Melania didn’t appear to be wearing was sheer tights – something all women of the Royal Family must wear for public engagements, as this is preferred by the Queen.

Donald Trump wore a navy suit with a red and blue stripe tie.

The Trump couple will be in the UK until Sunday, when they will fly to Finland.

Tomorrow they will fly up to Scotland, where Donald owns a golf course.
