Kate Middleton copies Meghan with similar yellow dress for Wimbledon finals
Kate Middleton, 36, was joined by her husband Prince William, 36, at Wimbledon today, for the second time attending the tennis championships this year.
The royal chose a summery yellow dress on one of the hottest days of the year, set to hit 32 degrees.
With frilled sleeves and falling to her knees, the demure look nipped in at the waist to show off her trim figure.
She stepped out just months after giving birth to her third child, Prince Louis.
The Duchess of Cambridge had her hair in loose waves that flattered her face.
Finishing the look was a silver watch and small earrings, along with her famous engagement ring.
The yellow dress was very similar to an outfit Meghan wore earlier this month.
Meghan chose a Brandon Maxwell yellow dress, costing £1,129 whilst attending Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge reception at Marlborough House.
Kate could have taken style tips from Meghan who has begun to wear more colourful outfits when at royal events.
The Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex attended Wimbledon together yesterday for the first time as they watched Serena Williams in the women’s final.
The duo went for very contrasting outfits as they took to the Royal Box together.
Kate chose a girly summer dress with frilled sleeves and waistline.
The white dress had black ball patterns, a nod to the tennis.
However Meghan went for a more modern look in a shirt and trouser ensemble.
She chose Ralph Lauren for the oversized shirt and white trousers, along with a white panama hat.
Why did Meghan not wear her hat in the Royal Box? It is due to the strict rules in the Royal Box preventing them from blocking other people’s views.
Meghan Markle has also been seen to copy Kate Middleton since joining the royal family.
Since marrying Prince Harry, 33, in May, her style has been very similar to the Duchess of Cambridge.
Many of her outfits have been pastel coloured, as well as with demure necklines and hems.
She has also avoided wearing her hair in a messy bun as often and choosing sleek undoes or blow-dried curls.
The Duchess of Sussex has avoided bright prints and choosing subdued hues especially when with the Queen.
