Avengers 4: Is there a BIG clue hiding in Ant-Man And The Wasp? This CHANGES Thanos’ Snap

The movie – which was finally released to UK cinemas last week – has a brief moment that could mean big things for the way Thanos ended Avengers: Infinity War.

When he collected all of the Infinity Stones, he was able to wipe out half of all humanity – including multiple Marvel heroes.

Now, the events of next year’s sequel Avengers 4 remain unclear, but Ant-Man and the Wasp may have had a clue hiding in plain sight. Or at least, in plain audio.

As highlighted by Digital Spy, there’s a scene in which Scott Lang is completing his house arrest, and is watching a magician’s tutorials online.

We hear one instruction, saying: “Snap your fingers. That gets them to look over there. Now that is misdirection. Easy-peasy.”

Given how now-iconic the finger-snap was at the end of Infinity War, and how much bosses must have known fans would speculate over the all-star blockbusters, did they plant this delicious Easter Egg on purpose?

Alternatively, is the magician’s line in itself a deliberate misdirection, or even an outright coincidence?

Sadly we still have the best part of a year to wait before we have answers.

Avengers 4 doesn’t even have a title yet, and isn’t expected to have one announced until the very end of 2018.

Trailers may not be forthcoming for quite some time yet either, although given how Infinity War broke records and set hype levels incredibly high, there’s hardly any rush.

Ant-Man and the Wasp, meanwhile, has struggled to make a big dent at the UK box office, after losing out to Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again over the weekend.

Although it was triumphant if its Wednesday and Thursday preview takings are incorporated, it had to settle for second place over the Friday-Sunday period, logging one of the MCU’s lowest ever opening grosses in this country.

Its release was delayed due to the World Cup, and came four weeks after the prolific US rollout. Hot weather is also believed to have negatively impacted the UK box office.

Avengers 4 is out on April 26, 2019.
