Avengers 4 release date: When will Avengers 4 come out?

The end of Avengers: Infinity War left Marvel fans with a lot to be unhappy about.

Despite this general melancholy, there is still a great deal to get excited about too, mainly how the fate of the Avengers could be reversed.

When will Avengers 4 come out?

The still-untitled Avengers movie makes its way to UK cinemas on Friday, April 26, 2019.

With this springtime release date, fans in the UK are slightly ahead of those in the USA where Avengers 4 will be released on May 3, 2019.

Following the final scenes of Avengers: Infinity War fans were left with tonnes of questions and have taken to theorising answers.

The untitled Avengers movie will mark the end of Phase III and set the start for Phase IV of the MCU, set to be helmed by Captain Marvel.

Plenty of secrets surrounds Avengers 4, though luckily the release date isn’t one of them.

The title is foremost on fans minds and has been described by the Avengers writers Joe and Anthony Russo as a “spoiler” of sorts for Infinity War.

With this as the only hint to go on, fans have taken to imagining a plethora of different titles in the meantime, from Avengers: End Game to Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet.

The cast of Infinity War featured 67 superheroes but Avengers 4 is set to challenge its predecessor and feature even more.

The surviving Avengers who will undoubtedly appear in Avengers 4 include: Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).

Avengers who were not in Infinity War, and presumably survived Thanos’ snap include Paul Rudd as Ant-Man and Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner.

Initially, Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp), Michelle Pfeiffer (the other Wasp) and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), were rumoured to appear in Avengers 4, but since the aftermath of Ant-Man and the Wasp’s mid-credit scene, this has been thrown into jeopardy.

Also reportedly filming scenes for the movie is Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan).

Brie Larson as Captain Marvel is set to at least cameo in Avengers 4 after making her on-screen debut with her solo movie.

There are still more details yet to be made public, like the title, but until then fans will have to keep speculating.
