Brigitte Macron takes dip in sea wearing tiny shorts with daughter and grandchildren

Brigitte Macron, 65, is taking time out of the spotlight this summer, spending the last few weeks in Bormes-les-Mimosas, in the South of France.

The First Lady has been spotted only on a handful of occasions, spending time with her husband and family at Fort de Bregancon, the official summer residence of French Presidents.

Venturing outside of the luxury hideaway, Brigitte was spotted taking her grandchildren for a dip in the sea.

The 65-year-old held hands with the two youngsters as she made her way down from the fort to the sea, with her daughter Tiphaine Auziere in tow.

Embracing the sunny weather, Brigitte glowed in a lemon yellow oversized T-shirt.

Known for showing off her envious legs, paired the bright T-short with a pair of tiny black shorts.

Keeping the look simples, she wore a simple pair of black and white trainers on her feet for the long, windy walk down the fort’s hill.

Channeling effortless 60s glamour, she hid from the cameras with a pair of big, sunglasses.

Brigitte’s hair was worn in its signature style – a bouncy, volumous blow dry.

The First Lady is currently away on her annual summer holiday with her husband, French president Emmanuel Macron.

The couple were joined by Brigitte’s youngest child, 34-year-old Tiphaine Auzière.

Brigitte has three children from her first marriage to banker André-Louis Auzière, whom she divorced in 2006, marrying Emmanuel one year later.

The couple is currently staying at the lavish Fort de Brégançon, the official retreat of the president of France since 1969.

A medieval fortress located 35 metres above sea level on an islet off the cast, the retreat is only connected to land by a short causeway.

The beautiful villa on the island will be lived in Brigitte and Emmanuel over the summer.

Brigitte was spotted wearing a similar outfit last week as she enjoyed a cycle ride near the summer retreat.

The 65-year-old donned the same tiny pair of black shorts in a clingy lycra material which showed off her figure.

The look showed off her long, slim legs as she rode out on her bike. Her skin on show was deeply tanned and glowing.

She paired her tight shorts with a looser T-shirt in a bright shade of turquoise.

The T-shirt had a low V-neck, showing off a hint of Brigitte’s chest as she rode through Bormes-les-Mimosas.
