Queen Maxima of the Netherlands: Stunning Dutch Royal channels Meghan Markle in pink

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, 47, was out enjoying the sunshine today in the Hauge, attending a military ceremony.

Along with her husband, King Willem-Alexander, the stylish Queen was at the military ceremony of the Willemsorde, the highest military decoration in the country.

Channelling a look previously seen on another European royal – Meghan Markle – the Dutch Queen went for a pale pink ensemble and stylish hat.

The structured dress came to just above the 47-year-old’s knees, flaring out from the waist and framing her svelte figure.

The dress was similar to the one worn by the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday garden party in May.

A favourite neckline of Meghan’s, Maxima’s dress also featured a slinky bardot neckline, showing off her décolletage.

Adding an edgy touch to the otherwise simple garment, the dress featured oversized, puffy sleeves which started at her elbow and flared out to her wrists.

On her feet she finished off the all nude-pink look with a pair of simple pointed-toe stilettos in nude suede.

Sticking to the colour scheme she wore a show-stopping wide-brimmed hat, also in pale pink, that was positioned on her head at a jaunty angle.

Adhering to royal standards all around the world, she wore a pair of nude tights, despite the warm temperatures.

The simple and understated look was held together by a stunning, glistening brooch that the Dutch royal wore on her right lapel.

Matching the brooch, she wore a pair of pink-hued, drop-down diamond earrings and a huge pink ring.

Maxima, who originally hails from Argentina, also carried a pair of nude gloves in her hands.

Perfect for the summers day, she wore her blonde hair in a stylish up-do swept to the left side.

Her makeup also matched her outfit colours, wearing pink lipstick and lashings of shimmery, pink highlighter.
