Captain Marvel movie: Will Thanos and the Black Order cameo in THIS way before Avengers 4?

Back in April Avengers Infinity War ended with a huge cliffhanger.

Thanos had gathered all six Infinity Stones and successfully wiped out half the universe.

However the end credits scene teased Nick Fury contacting Captain Marvel with some old tech.

Now as Marvel fans wait for Avengers 4 next year, there are two prequel films sandwiched in between that give clues to how the superheroes will fight back.

We’ve already had Ant-Man and the Wasp, set just before the events of Avengers Infinity War, a film that delves deeper into the mysteries of the Quantum Realm – which will no doubt play a major role in Avengers 4.

And next March the Captain Marvel movie arrives, set in the mid-1990s, yet hopefully will tease the next Avengers film somehow since Carol Danvers will be playing a major role.

But what if a younger Thanos and the Black Order cameo in Captain Marvel?

That’s something theorist Webhead reckons in his new YouTube video.

The fan points out how both Guardians of the Galaxy villains Korath and Ronan will be returning for the prequel.

Fans will remember Ronan had close ties with Thanos, so it’s very easy for the Mad Titan to cameo – just as he did in the first Guardians movie.

Another piece of evidence is the flashback scene in Infinity War when Thanos adopts Gamora.

Clearly he and the Black Order were busy committing genocide on planet-wide scales at that point too, so would surely be known to Captain Marvel at that time.

The theorist also points out that in Infinity War Cull Obsidian has a sash with the same colours as Captain Marvel.

However this theory has been debunked by MCU Cosmic, pointing out it’s orange, not Captain Marvel’s red.

Nevertheless, it’s still possible Thanos and the Black Order could make an appearance in the film.

Captain Marvel is released in UK cinemas on March 8 and will be followed by Avengers 4 on April 26, 2019.
