There are only a few days left until Ant-Man and the Wasp finally makes its way to UK cinemas.

The Ant-Man sequel clocks in for a total runtime of two hours and five minutes.

But for fans who want to see every second, taking into account the mid-credit scene and the end credit scene, your total time in the cinema will be slightly more than that.

This release date is a month later than the US release date and fans in the UK did not take the news well.

An unsuccessful petition online was started to get Marvel to move the date in sync with the USA’s release.

The events of Ant-Man and the Wasp take place in-between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.

The sequel finds Scott Lang under house arrest after the events of Civil War.

Lang is trying to balance his home life as a father with his superhero responsibilities as Ant-Man.

The plot follows Ant-Man and Hope van Dyne as they go on a mission to rescue the original Wasp from the Quantum Realm.

They also seek to regain Hank Pym’s tech stolen from him by a mysterious enemy named Ghost.

The Ant-Man sequel is in UK cinemas Thursday, August 2, 2018.
