Avengers 4: Mark Ruffalo wants Hulk vs Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in MCU
They often clash in the Marvel comics, but Hulk and Wolverine are yet to share the big screen.
Nevertheless Ruffalo would love for it to happen in the MCU’s future.
Speaking with The Marvelists podcast, he said: “It’d be cool to see.
“I mean, people talk a lot about Wolverine and Hulk hooking up, I think that would be a really great combo.”
He added: “And I love Hugh, and it would be cool to do something with him, if he’s up to doing it.
“He’s always teased Hulk versus Wolverine would be pretty fun.”
But sadly for Ruffalo, Jackman has already bowed out as Wolverine in last year’s Logan.
Even Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has been trying to get him to come back, but to no avail.
Nevertheless Reynolds wants Wolverine for his X-Force movie.
Back in July he teased fans at Comic Con: “You never know.”
Yet Jackman told TMZ in May: “Ship has sailed Ryan. Sorry brother.”
The Wolverine star was also asked on GMA and said: “Ryan…back it up a little.
“Play a little hard to get. It’s too much. It’s not sexy.”
Of course the other option is that another actor will play Wolverine in the X-Force movie.
After all Jackman has said he’d like another actor to play the role, just like Batman.
Just imagine Tom Hardy’s Wolverine opposite Ruffalo’s Hulk and Reynolds’ Deadpool.
Disney have bought the rights to the X-Men, so anything’s possible in the future.
