Avengers 4: Nebula star Karen Gillan teases Thanos Infinity Gauntlet scene amid reshoots?

Reshoots for the Avengers Infinity War sequel are currently underway, while much of the plot remains firmly under-wraps.

Nevertheless titbits of information and hints slip through when cast and crew post on their social media profiles.

And the latest of these comes from Karen Gillan’s Instagram yesterday.

The Nebula actress took a screenshot of her alarm app on her iPhone, with a number of wake up calls set up to 4:30am.

The early start isn’t surprising for Gillan, who has a lot of prosthetic makeup to wear as her cyborg character.

Over the top of the screenshot she wrote: “You know what this means…

“Nebula has some unfinished business with Daddio. Reshoots!”

Marvel fans will know Nebula’s father is Thanos, the main villain in Avengers Infinity War and Avengers 4.

In this year’s Marvel epic he tortured his daughter so her sibling Gamora would reveal the true location of the Soul Stone.

AVENGERS 4 TIME TRAVEL CONFIRMED BY THIS LEAK?

Thanos was of course successful in gathering all six Infinity Stones and snapped his fingers in the Infinity Gauntlet to kill half of all life in the universe.

However it’s interesting that all the Guardians perished expect for Nebula and Rocket.

No doubt she will play a big role in the fight back against Thanos along with the surviving Avengers – who all happen to be the original team.

It’s no mistake that those who survived the Snap are now the ones set with the task of saving the universe.

It’s also worth pointing out that in the Infinity Gauntlet comic, on which Avengers Infinity War and Avengers 4 is loosely based, Nebula distracted Thanos and took the Gauntlet for herself.

In fact it’s her who restores the universe to how it was, so perhaps Avengers 4 will follow likewise?

Whatever happens it looks like Nebula will play a key role in Avengers 4’s conclusion.
