Avengers 4: Reshoots in September are asking for THIS kind of body double

Marvel has made some small positive steps forward in its treatment of women on screen.

Ant-Man and the Wasp was the first Marvel movie to feature the female superhero’s name in the title.

Captain America, portrayed by Brie Larson, is set to be the new face of the MCU.

But for every two steps forward there’s one backwards.

Reshoots set to startin September are asking for a body double with some specific requirements. 

Believe it or not, Marvel is on the hunt for a butt double.

Reshoots are set to start shortly, and according to the Georgia Central Casting Facebook Page, they’re in need of a butt double.

The casting note reads:

Body/Butt Double working multiple dates starting September.

Location: Fayetteville, GA

Rate: $125/10

The note goes on to say: “Central Casting is looking for a Photo Double to work on this exciting project.

“Filming will likely begin in early September; you should have a flexible schedule and ability to work multiple days a week through October.

“-Woman #1: Looking for a female who appears to be Caucasian, 20’s-30’s.

“Height 5’2 – 5’4, Bust 32B – 32D, waist 25 – 27, hips 36 – 38, dress size 0-4.”

The clincher? “Hair colour: BLONDE.”

There are a lot of requirements here which could fall either into Captain Marvel or Black Widow.

Black Widow, played by Scarlet Johannson, has blonde hair in Infinity War.

However, the leaked promo art for Avengers 4 showed Natasha with a different hair colour.

Captain Marvel is, of course, blonde, but the character has yet to debut on screens.

Whoever this casting note ends up being for, fans will undoubtedly do their best to spot the butt-double when Avengers 4 finally makes its way to cinemas.

Avengers 4 will be released on Friday, Aril 26, 2019.
