Avengers 4 SHOCK: Evangeline Lilly reveals The Wasp was actually in Avengers Infinity War?
Both Ant-Man and the Wasp were curiously absent from the events of Marvel‘s Avengers Infinity War.
Nevertheless they have their own movie coming out in August, which is set before it so hopefully that will shed some light on the matter.
But now Lilly has jovially said she was there as The Wasp in Infinity War – but is there more to this interview answer than meets the eye?
Speaking with NDTV, she and Ant-Man star Paul Rudd spoke on what their characters were up to in Avengers Infinity War.
Rudd said: “I remember going to see Infinity War and they do mention that I was under House Arrest and that I was not able to leave. There’s a lot going on, a lot going on.
Lilly added: “For the record, I was there. I was just tiny.”
Before Rudd joked: “Well maybe I was too small and you just couldn’t see me either. I feel like I just piggybacked on your joke there.”
Of course Rudd could have been saving face for his co-star to avoid Avengers 4 spoilers.
And secondly Lilly has revealed she only has a small role in Avengers 4, implying we won’t see her until she’s somehow brought back with the other dead superheroes, in whatever form that may be.
Earlier this year she wrote on her Instagram: “I will appear in Avengers 4… not very much, so don’t get your hopes up. Not going to be a ton. But I’m in there!
“And I’m proud to be in there. And I’m stoked to be in there.”
Ant-Man and the Wasp is released in UK cinemas on August 3, 2018 and will be followed by Avengers 4 on April 26, 2019.
