Avengers 4 Snap horror: The SKRULLS were waiting for Thanos to do THIS all along

Surely nobody could be happy about the Snap?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has just introduced a new villanous race who are about to change al the rules.

The Skrulls have finally just made their big screen debut in the first Captain Marvel trailer, which already made clear exactly why they are so terrifying.

It’s not the scaley exterior that sends shivers up the spine, it’s the fact that these shapeshifters can transform themselves into anyone – including those who just died…

Normally the Skrulls use their abilities to infiltrate their enemies and defeat from within, which wouldn’t normally work with dead people, since everyone usually knows they are dead. But after the Snap there will be chaos with everybody unsure who has turned to dust unless they saw it with their own eyes.

This gives the Skrulls an incredible opportunity.

One clever fan started to wonder about it after Benedict Wong posted an Instagram image on the Avengers 4 set as the hair and make-up team peeled away the back of his head.

Dvaismyhero said: “Wong is a skrull…When the skrulls reveal themselves, they literally shed their skins. F***ing calling it.”

Most fans seemed to agree this is too obvious but another suggested: “It’s entirely possible that a Skrull is just impersonating him temporarily. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the Wong we saw in Doctor Strange and Infinity War was a Skrull.”

Suddenly a terrifying new possibility was opened up which would not potentially unravel the existing Avengers movies timelines.

st19xxxx wrote: “Yeah. I think the snap is wonderful opportunity for the Skrulls to impersonate supporting characters as no-one really knows that they are snapped. Just imagine them impersonating Maria Hill, Aunt May, Ned, Pepper and Fury. None of the Avengers know if they are snapped or not.”

Another added: “If skrulls are involved, my guess is that they invaded AFTER the snap, while the Universe was ailing.”

The Skrulls revel in chaos and instabilty, sowing discord and deceit. What better time than when half of all life has just been wiped out and nobody knows exactly who really died or not.

Previous fan theories have feverishly speculated which characters might have been Skrulls all along, since the Captain Marvel movie will introduce them to Earth in the 1990s.

This new theory is even more plausible and unsettling.

In the present day, Thanos has achieved his aims and no longer wants anything more to do with the universe. It is the perfect time for another race to step in and attempt to seize control…
