Avengers Infinity War deleted scene: Is THIS who will defeat Thanos in Avengers 4? WATCH
Avengers Infinity War home entertainment packages will be released soon.
To promote the digital, DVD and Blu-ray releases, deleted scenes have already been released online.
Fans are already consumed with trying to work out who will defeat Thanos and how.
The filmmakers have already dropped some major hints and one of the longest deleted scenes seems to reinforce all the indications that it won’t necessarily be about brute strength. In fact, there is only one hero who makes Thanos vulnerable.

Most current theories suround time travel and alternate dimensions, plus the imminent appearance of the incredibly powerful Captain Marvel. But the real key to the Mad Titan’s fall lies much closer to home.
The latest deleted scene is an extended version of the throne room argument between Thanos and Gamora.
Throughout it, Thanos reveals his pain and disappointment that his ‘daughter’ abandoned him. He also reveals that she did NOT escape, he let her go. This is another huge clue to his one and only weakness.
Gamora is the only one who makes him change his behaviour, makes him less absolute. She is his only vulnerability.
Which is no help at all if she is dead and gone, but at a special school event in the US the Russo brothers were asked if Gamora was still alive inside the Soul Stone.
They said: “She in fact is, yes…”
Joe Russo also told Empire: “He (Thanos) is an incredibly difficult character to beat….He’s stronger than the Hulk. He’s more like Genghis Khan. He’s a force of nature. He has a spiritual wisdom well beyond all the other characters. He is a conqueror of worlds. He doesn’t have a weakness and that is what makes him so threatening.”
Except for one thing.
Russo added: “You have to find vulnerabilities for characters of that level of strength. Look for their emotional and physical life – that’s where we figure out how we make those characters crack.”
Thanos only has one emotional weakness, one person he cares about. At the end of Infinity War Thanos says his victory cost him “everything.” He was referring only to Gamora.
She has already shown her willingness to kill her adopted father. To paraphrase the great man, somehow Gamora is the key to “everything.”
