Not surprisingly, Avengers Infinity War is one of the longest Marvel films ever made. 

Initially slated to be split into two films, Avengers Part 1 and 2, Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, decided to split the films in a more distinct way, separating them into Infinity War and the yet-to-be-named Avengers 4 sequel in 20109.

Infinity War sits at a runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes, a lengthy film compared to previous outings, but fans seem nonplussed. 

Paul Dergarabedian, a senior media analyst at ComScore said: “The fans probably thought the film was over much too quickly.

“And clearly no one was put off by the long running time, which proves that too much of a good thing is just fine when it comes to Marvel.

“Heck, people are more than happy to sit through an end-credits sequence worthy of its own showtime to get to what fans have come to expect at the tail end of the experience.”
