Avengers Infinity War DVD release date: When does Infinity War come out on DVD?

While the next Marvel movie is still a long way from cinemas, fans have been biding their time by theorising and hunting for Easter eggs.

To successfully come up with brand new theories and spot these hidden teasers, fans need to be able to rewatch Infinity War.

When does Avengers: Infinity War come out on DVD?

The DVD version of Infinity War is set to be released on September 3, but not only on DVD.

Infinity War will also be available on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and 4K UHD for those tech-fans with the requisite equipment to play them.

A digital download date has been set for August 20, which can also be purchased alongside a DVD to arrive later.

Fans in America will get the DVD and subsequent digital release earlier than those in the UK.

The Avengers: Infinity War DVD release includes bonus features, commentary, and deleted scenes.

Though fans may be itching for an extra footage in the form of an extended edition DVD (similarly to the Lord of the Rings director’s cut) Marvel has never given any previous movie a director’s edition DVD.

However, it isn’t unheard of for superhero movies to get director’s cut DVDs.

The Blu-ray Ultimate Edition of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice had an extra thirty minutes, bringing it up to three hours total of viewing time.

For Infinity War, the release of the DVD comes with this extensive list of bonus features. These include:

• The Mad Titan (6:34) – Explore the MCU’s biggest, baddest villain, his trail of influence through the stories, and the existential threat he represents.
• Beyond the Battle: Titan (9:36) – Dive into the climactic struggle on Thanos’ ruined world, including the epic stunts and VFX, to uncover the source of its power.
• Beyond the Battle: Wakanda (10:58) – Go behind the scenes to find out how the filmmakers pulled off the most massive and challenging battle Marvel had ever attempted.

• A Father’s Choice (4:00) – Thanos confronts Gamora with a vision from her past—and with lying to him about the Soul Stone.
• Gag reel (we’ll need it) – (2:05)– Watch your favourite Super Heroes make super gaffes in this lighthearted collection of on-set antics.
• Writer’s and directors’ audio commentary (explain yourselves): Anthony and Joe Russo, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
