Avengers Infinity War has already SMASHED past Justice League’s total gross in HOW LONG?

The Marvel epic is beating records left right and centre, having beaten Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ biggest opening weekend ever.

Avengers Infinity War has so far made over $725 million worldwide and it’s only been out for half a week.

Incredibly it topped DC’s Justice League – which made $657 million worldwide – in just four days.

Avengers Infinity War will have passed every DCEU movie by the end of the week, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Of course the DCEU has suffered poor reviews apart from Wonder Woman, with Justice League gaining 40% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

In comparison Avengers Infinity War sits comfortably at 84% positive reviews.

Having beaten Star Wars’ record, the Marvel epic has a good chance at challenging The Force Awakens’ hold as third highest-grossing movie ever at $2 billion.

And perhaps even James Cameron’s Titanic and Avatar, which hold the top two positions, with the latter sitting unbeaten at $2.7 billion.

According to The Hollywood Reporter it’s the Marvel brand which has been established over the last decade and is now accumulating in Avengers Infinity War.

With such a geek-out over the superhero crossover of superhero crossovers on offer, no wonder fans have been making second, third and even fourth return visits to the cinema just over it’s opening.

Meanwhile another factor will be the success of Black Panther and seeing the character and his country of Wakanda playing pivotal roles in the movie.

But this is just part one of the conclusion – who knows how much Avengers 4 will make next April.
